New Strategy..

Hmm.. march already..
March and still undone..

Target februari beres nulis ternyata tidak terlaksanakan, kalah sama diri sendiri, mengecawakan. Harus bikin strategi baru buat nulis karena rasanya strategi lalu sudah usang dan tidak layak pakai karena kondisinya pun sudah berubah. Pekerjaan baru lagi menunggu untuk diselesaikan, kamaren yang judulnya "Strategi Menulis di Saat Malas" berubah menjadi "Strategi Menulis di saat Banyak Pekerjaan". Rintangan menulis di saat banyak pekerjaan..?
1. Gak fokus, lagi nulis inget kerjaan, lagi kerja inget nulis. Geez..
2. Prioritas! Pekerjaan dulu atau nulis dulu ? Karena 2-2 nya ada target yang harus tercapai
3. Volume pekerjaan dan menulis setiap harinya, berapa banyak nulis untuk hari ini, berapa banyak kerja untuk haru esok, berapa banyak nulis untuk hari lusa and on and on and on and on and on.. *hrmph*
And it all comes down to 'time management', which i always fail about 90 percent out of my time.. Mungkin strategi sekarang, go with the flow.. Ketika mood nulis baru nulis, sisanya untuk kuliah, kerjaan, main dan lain lain dan lain lain.. :) Toh, sesuatu yang dipaksakan hasilnya gak akan baik kan..? kan..? (there goes another excuse..)

Sometimes, i wonder how this would end.. Wrap it up unsatisfactoryly (is this a word..?), and the hell with it.. it's lucky enough for me if make it out alive and well. I'm running our of words, running out of time, running out of energy, and running out of life. I wonder how i would catch up with everything out there. The damn world just won't stop, and it certainly won't even wait moreover for me. For now, trying my best is the only thing i could do. A little pressure maybe..? Nah, a pressure won't do much for me.. A little motivation..? Yeah, probably that's what i needed, a little motivation to do what i got to do..

Hmm.. A little mucic might motivate me a bit.. ;)

Tweaking..

Sempet bermain - main dengan OS linux di laptop pertama gw (the DELL !!). Karena laptopnya ilang, gw lanjutin proyek linux gw di laptop baru gw. Dual booth sama windows 7, soalnya masih banyak software - software untuk kerjaan yang gak bisa tergantikan di OS linux. Secara pribadi gw selalu tertarik dengan OS Open Source, karena efek desktop-nya yang bisa dimainin. Pertama kali nyoba ubuntu, berhasil diinstall tapi gak bisa diupdate karena yang diinstall ternyata versi lama gara - gara males download dari internet. Nyari - nyari DVD OS linux lain, dan menemukan OPENSuse!! :D Diliat dari isinya, kayanya masih baru jadi langsung gw beli.


Butuh waktu 3 hari 2 malam untuk bisa diinstall dan berhasil dual booth dengan windows 7 karena gak ada pendamping waktu nginstallnya ( 7 kali reinstall, 2 kali format ulang partisi). Gak sampe situ, laptop gw kebetulan pake VGA produk ATI Radeon dan ternyata Driver ATI Radeon yang baru (Catalyst 9.14 for linux) gak compatible ama OpenSUSE terbaru (11.2) , jadi 3 hari 2 malam berikutnya digunakan sepenuhnya untuk ngatasin masalah ini. Dan teratasi dengan bantuan forum OpenSUSE. Thanx God :D

The result..?

Not bad for first timer huh ? ;) But, 0ne problem solved another is waiting.. Tapi itulah bagusnya OS Open Source, gak mengenal batas.. bisa dimain2in sesuka kita asal harus sabar untuk cari tau caranya.

Untungya semua data yang ada di laptop DELL sudah dibackup semua ke hard disk eksternal karena baru saja di-install ulang. Chargernya gak dibawa sama si maling, padahal umur batere laptop gw (yang DELL) cuma 10 menit kalo tanpa casan. However, the moral of the story, lock your room before you go to bed.

So long my DELL, I hope you're happy out there in the wild.. >.<
